Blake Christensen, JD/MBA
Blake leads Montana Strategic Consulting after a successful career as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for a research university. As a lawyer, strategic adviser, and professional development expert, Blake is dedicated to helping clients and their teams reach their maximum potential. Blake has a passion for teaching and thrives on leading programs that are interactive, productive, and enjoyable for all participants.
Blake has a law degree from the College of William and Mary, is a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP), and has an MBA from the Yale School of Management where he focused on organizational strategy. He is also a certified Strengths Deployment Inventory, Leadership Challenge, and Real Colors facilitator with extensive experience strategizing with executive teams, leading professional development programs, coaching executives, facilitating strategic planning sessions, and helping clients find answers to move their organizations forward.

Aubrie Nield, MPA
Aubrie serves as Chief Operating Officer for Montana Strategic Consulting, where she directs organizational operations, drives key strategic initiatives, and advises clients on institutional risk and workplace issues. Aubrie excels at implementing best practices that maximize efficiency, streamline processes, and boost overall productivity. She has a strong track record of leading projects and ensuring teams remain effectively informed and aligned. Prior to joining Montana Strategic Consulting, Aubrie served as Director of Legal Operations for a university legal office and as a risk manager for a highly-regulated institution with 1800 employees.
Aubrie holds a Master of Public Administration with an emphasis in state, local, and nonprofit administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Her academic and professional background includes extensive research and study in public policy analysis, program assessment, and public workplace issues.
Liesel Bennion, MS
Liesel is an energetic facilitator with over a decade of high school teaching experience and a masters degree in science education from Montana State University. A breast cancer survivor and advocate, she leads sessions with empathy and compassion, with a strong focus on helping participants gain insight into the “why” of their personal development. In addition to her teaching and consulting work, Liesel is a doctoral student at Idaho State University where her research focuses on connecting educators with greater resources for the classroom. Liesel uses her extensive classroom and teaching experience to connect with participants, ensure they are engaged, and guide them to getting the most out of their professional development experience.
